The Best Underrated Mascara You've Never Tried

With the unlimited amount of mascara's available on the market one can feel overwhelmed when searching for an ideal one. After trying multiple popular mascara's that were not satisfactory I came across the Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara. Being listed as "Top Rated" on Tarte Cosmetic's website this mascara claims to be a vegan, lengthening mascara that treats your lashes & delivers soft volume.

Tarte is a cruelty free and vegan brand according to their website meaning that they do not test on animals and provide vegan options.

The main ingredient used is Amazonian Clay, as seen on the name, which has many benefits. One benefit could be the minerals found within the clay. Minerals such as calcium, silica, zinc and magnesium help nourish skin, and in this case, your lashes.

Another benefit of clay could be it's disinfecting abilities. Clay is very effective in eliminating bacteria. This can be very useful when it comes to a mascara since the product comes to contact with your eyes.

Other ingredients found within the product are rice wax, olive esters and vitamin C. Rice wax helps lengthen lashes, olive ester conditions and treats lashes while vitamin C has antioxidant abilities.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for lengthening and thickening mascara. In addition, the mascara isn't waterproof, which makes it easy to remove, but still stays on all day!
